2nd Annual Grappling Indians Wrestling Camp - 2008

1st Annual Grappling Indians Wrestling Camp - 2007

The 4th annual camp was our first camp held inside the newly renovated Dodge County Wrestling Gym. The new gym was opened in September 2009 and sports two large wrestling mats, peg board, rope climbs, dip bars, weights, chin-up bars, medicine balls, grappling dummys, exercise bike, stairmaster, treadmill, and concession stand.  Thanks to overwhelming community and school board support, Dodge County enjoys one of the nicest wrestling facilities in the south.
The 3rd annual camp was held in the old Dodge County Middle School gym during our transition from the Boys & Girls Club gym to a larger facility.  This was the last place Coach Rickey Parks saw his beloved wrestlers before his passing only a month later.  He was the catalyst for working  with the Board of Education to secure the gym facility that we enjoy today.
The 2nd annual camp was held in our first wrestling home at the Boys & Girls Club of Dodge County. The room was very small yet it served our program well until we added the Middle School team. We are extremely grateful to Chris Martin and the Boys & Girls Club for allowing us to use their facility for almost 3 years.
In 2007, Coach Greer had a vision to bring wrestling to Dodge County. During the first camp held at the Eastman-Dodge Recreation Department, he realized there were others in the community with similar dreams. Brian Grauberger, Justin Humble, Matthew Burton, Dr. Michael Knight, Greg Robinson, Chris Martin, and the Board of Education helped provide our kids with a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the sport of wrestling.
